Like No Taste Else
Olga's Kitchen
Freshly grilled-to-order, it’s bread you’ll find at the center of everything here. A secret-recipe bread used in side dishes, desserts and every one of the delectable sandwiches you’ll find at Olga’s Kitchen. It’s called Olga Bread – named for the woman who created it, Olga Loizon. And while sweet, soft and delicious may begin to describe it, it’s only the real experience that can convince you how unlike anything else it really is.

The doors to Olga’s Kitchen first opened in Birmingham, Michigan, in 1970. Curious customers taking a chance on this unique new restaurant were thrilled by what they discovered. Something different. Something they could tell others about. Olga’s became their secret to share with friends and family members.

As the popularity of the restaurant grew, it was decided the menu should grow along with it. The one-and-only Olga Sandwich became “The Original Olga” and soon, new worldly flavors began to find their way onto the menu. Various flavor combinations were designed from the finest and freshest produce and products purchased from local growers. The best of these were added to the menu.

Today, the business continues to grow. There are now over 30 Olga’s Kitchen restaurants and more on the horizon. Each one strives to keep it fresh and original. Things never feel stale here. It’s an ideal gathering place for family and friends to relax and unwind.

The goal is to make a great first impression with every visit. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always fresh. And then there’s the bread. The grilled-to-order bread that started it all. Made the same way each day just as it was in the beginning. It’s all these things, working together in harmony, that make for an experience “Like No Taste Else,” fresh from Olga’s Kitchen.
